My doula services are for all! JoDoula has different packages available to make it happen. Haven’t found something that fits – just call and I will tailor a program specifically for your needs.
GROUP TOURS
A perfect option for someone who has taken childbirth classes, has experience with breastfeeding, and is familiar with her birth options.
DOULA BIRTH
Doula birth covers:

One meeting consultation over the phone to see if we are a good match – we go over your intake form and sign a contract.

Pregnancy support via text, e-mail, and phone

On call starting at 38 weeks based on your due date

Doula support during birth

Two phone calls after birth to see how you and your family are doing
*Doula Birth package may not be used for induction but may be used for a scheduled C-section.

GROUP TOURS
A more comprehensive support that gives you access to JoDoula’s education and lending materials. This is a more personalized packet in which you get to meet Joanne in person and add a class or topic to be covered in our meetings.

Doula Extra Services
Classes
Classes included in Doula packages are two hours long, and you choose what to cover. JoDoula uses an approach to birth using rebozo, birth balls, breathing techniques, movement, information about maternity care options, and hands-on with breastfeeding techniques.
Aromatherapy
Safe use of aromatherapy for pregnancy, birth and postpartum is available. Clients may receive, make or buy a belly balm, nausea spray, relaxing massage oils, or nipple oil.
Body Oil Rub or Foot Massage
You can be pampered with aromatherapy oil to help you relax, energize, and replenish. This can be followed by a ceremonial bath.
Hot Stone Abdominal Press
Hot stones or moxa are used to help your uterus go back to its pre-pregnancy size and also to help lochia flow and digestion.
Belly Binding
I can show you how to wrap your belly, hips and ribs using a Bengkung binding or traditional faja. The Bengkung bind and faja are not included in doula package prices.
Vaginal Steams
Enhance your healing, reducing the possibility of infection by using herbs, increasing blood flow, and help tighten pelvic floor muscles by using herbal steams at your vagina.
TENS Unit
A TENS unit machine is available in Doula Basics and Doula Extras upon MD signing consent. A $70.00 safe fee deposit is needed and returned to you after the TENS unit is returned to JoDoula. Non-JoDoula clients can rent a TENS unit for $100.00, receiving $50.00 back upon return. TENS units are first come, first serve.
Crystal Healing
An introductory crystal healing session which you can expand to a complete six-week session for $225.00 to $400.00 to enhance your energy. Crystals are used at your chakras to balance body and mind. It’s great alternative care for postpartum depression.
Obsidian Healing
Obsidian has limited use during pregnancy but can be used for specific aches like carpal tunnel. During postpartum it can speed your C-section recovery and help with aches and pains at the breasts and perineum. Obsidian geometries are not included in doula package prices.
Blessing and Energy Clearing Ceremony
A ceremony in which mother is showered with love, words, and flowers by those she wants to include in her celebration into motherhood. JoDoula “Sahumea” clears energy from the expecting mother’s aura with smoke from incense and herbs.
Sitz Bath Herbal Blends and Breastfeeding Drinks
Herbal blends to enhance your recovery and get you ready for JoDoula’s postpartum visits.
Please note that JoDoula is happy to help you explore and become familiar with the role that herbs, aromatherapy, vaginal care, TENS unit use, crystal/obsidian healing, and other complementary health modalities may play in your life.

The service I offer includes and is not limited to: first time mothers, VBAC, birth trauma, infant loss, high-risk pregnancies, inductions, multiplies, IVF, and sexual abuse survivors.
